Tycoon Percussion is a company dedicated to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of percussion instruments throughout the world. We are the only company in the hand-percussion industry that wholly-owns our own factory, located in Bangkok, Thailand.
Tycoon Percussion was established in 1985 and originally began manufacturing hand percussion products on an OEM basis for other well-known percussion brands. It was not until the early 1990’s when the growth of Tycoon Percussion branded products began to accelerate quickly, and within a few years, we had established a significant presence in markets throughout Europe, Asia, and South America.
Congas
Constructed of carefully selected aged Siam Oak, the Master Series is a beautiful and powerful set of drums. Each drum is 30" tall and has a wide belly to enhance the deep bass tone of the drum. Tycoon Percussion Master Series drums feature heavy duty deluxe rims, reinforced side plates, 3/8" diameter tuning lugs and backing plates. A matching die-cast handle allows players to transport their drums with ease. Topping off each drum is a premium quality water buffalo skin head that produces rich bass tones and crisp high pitched slap tones. Constructed of carefully-selected, aged Siam Oak Wood, giving our instruments exceptional durability and unmatched sound.
Master Master Series Djembes
The Tycoon Percussion Master Series djembe is constructed of carefully selected aged Siam Oak. These drums feature heavy duty deluxe rims and 3/8" diameter tuning lugs and hand-picked premium quality goat skin heads that produce rich bass tones and crisp high pitched slap tones. Tycoon Percussion Master Series djembes are available in 4 unique styles.

Constructed of hand selected environmentally-friendly Siam Oak Wood. 7" & 8.5" premium quality water buffalo skin heads.
