New Orleans Series
Evoking the spirit of the crescent city, this series feels as good behind a jazz kit as it does on a contemporary setup. These cymbals are completely hand hammered in the traditional manner, then wide-lathed in a continuous spiral from bell to outer edge.

Master Series

Designed by Grammy award winning drummer Ignacio Berroa, this series adds a touch of salsa to our palate of sounds. Stanton Moore Series
Bosphorus worked for two years with Stanton on the development of his signature series cymbals. The results capture the funky, earthy quality of Stanton's trademark sound. The tops are traditionally lathed with warm tonal grooves, while the bottoms are lathed with the distinctive wider ridges associated with the Bosphorus New Orleans series.

Bosphorus History
Bosphorus is a cymbal manufacturer based in İstanbul, Turkey and Kennesaw, Georgia, United States.
The factory is located on the Bosphorus Strait and owned by three cymbalsmiths who worked at the Istanbul Cymbals factory until the company split in the 1990's. They were trained by Mehmet Tamdeger, who worked at Zildjian in the 1950's and Agop Tomurcuk who was foreman of Zildjian's factory in Istanbul until it's closure in 1978.
The US operation is owned by a trio of drummers, including Jeff Hamilton.
Unlike most modern cymbal manufacturers, Bosphorus produces their cymbals using centuries old traditions, using cast bronze, hand hammering, and lathe.
Each cymbal is unique due to the fact that a single cymbalsmith will hammer a cymbal by hand, striking it thousands of times until it is finished. This process gives the cymbals an "old-world" warmth that some people feel is lacking in modern machine-made cymbals.
