Taye ParaSonic Drum Kits

The new Taye ParaSonic drums use a unique combination of two woods Maple and Birch to produce a dynamic and smooth sounding drum. The natural characteristics of each wood is tailored  for each drum.

With Maple having a longer sustain and Birch a shorter and brighter attack these drums match up perfectly. The smaller drums blend Maple and Birch and the shells are thicker to produce a sharper attack and brighter tones. The larger drums are all North American Sugar Maple and have a thinner shell to produce a warmer fatter tone. This is a perfect pairing of materials and shell thicknesses to create a tailored sound.
